Klára Brachtlová earned her master’s degree from the PragueUniversity of Economics and Business, and she currently serves as the Chief External Affairs Officer at CME in Prague where she heads CME’s regulatory and public affairs strategy as well as participating in implementing the group’s ESG initiatives. She was also elected as the president of the Czech Association of Commercial Broadcasters in 2023 where she oversees key media and policy developments.

Ms. Brachtlová has over 15 years of C-level executive management experience at TV Nova across television broadcast operations and finance, having previously served both as co-CEO and CFO in addition to her current role as executive board member of TV Nova, the most successful private TV station in the Czech Republic. Ms. Brachtlová successfully oversaw TV Nova’s digital transformation agenda, securing a leading position on the Czech and Slovak markets. Before entering media, Ms. Brachtlová was a manager in the audit department at PwC for several years, and is a certified Statutory Auditor, Tax Advisor, and has ACCA qualification.
